Christmas in Review

Our Christmas celebrations began on Wednesday morning of last week. We did our own little family Christmas that morning with Aiden before we headed out for College Station that afternoon. Aiden loved all the stuff we got him...especially since everything was Cars related. Here he is opening his stocking and excited to see Sally...

Of course his big present from Santa was the biggest hit of all this Christmas. If you can't tell it is the Geotrax Cars edition. He has played with this a lot. The Lightening McQueen car is an RC car with a controller that allows it to go forwards and backwards on the track. We have already worn through the battery on it.

After opening our gifts and playing around the house on Wednesday morning, we headed down to College Station. Norman's twin sister and family had recently gotten a lab puppy and Aiden enjoyed getting to play with Molly while we were there. Ever the curious one he, of course had to get in the dog kennel and they were both in there at one time. Unfortunately, I wasn't fast enough with the camera for that one.

We stayed in College Station through Christmas Day and enjoyed getting to open presents there on Christmas morning. Here is Aiden with a truck from Aunt Laura, Uncle Daniel and Cousin Benjamin...

And here is Aiden with a Lightening McQueen pillow/blanket from Aunt Nora, Uncle Jeff and Cousin Samuel. Of course we have had to sleep with this since then.

Here is our family in front of the Christmas tree on Christmas morning. Not the best picture but it was the only family picture we took.

We went home on Christmas night and then on Saturday morning headed over to my parents house for Christmas with my side. I unfortunately didn't get my camera out once while were were over there. Aiden loved all of his gifts from Granna, Pops, Uncle Ryan, Aunt Kristyn, Cousin Jack, and from great grandparents (who sent them there).

Overall, we had a wonderful Christmas enjoying fellowship with family. We are so blessed to have such wonderful families and a Savior who came to Earth during this time of year!!
