First Aiden helped with rolling it out...
Then he would choose a shape and cut it out (sometimes he wanted to put the shape back like a puzzle piece and other times he would put it on the cookie sheet)...
Then we added the sprinkles (if you look closely you can see he put A LOT of sprinkles on one cookie, which in his defense the red does pour out rather quickly)...
Then he surveyed his work before we put them in the oven...
Then he tasted his work...
Yes you read that right, Aiden actually ate one of the cookies!! Shocking if you don't know my son. He doesn't ever really eat anything sweet besides Teddy Grahams and other things similar to that. (He didn't eat his cake at his first birthday party, and his cupcake at his second.) We have tried offering him homemade cookies before and he has always refused to try them. He even went back and asked for more cookies throughout the day. He seemed to have a really good time helping us out.
