So, the last several days I have spent a bunch of time (much too long!!) on the Internet looking at diaper bags. There are way too many choices out there, most of the ones I like with a nice price tag. I had a bag picked out a while back but just couldn't decided if I would like it for long term use. I also found out today that they don't have the style I like in the smaller size, which rules it out. With Aiden I had this bag in brown and blue...
and while I loved the style and looks of it. It was rather big and bulky. It also wasn't the most comfortable to carry around. So I have been looking for more of a purse type style this time around. Here are some of my current favorites in order from least to most expensive...
1. Skip Hop Versa in Cream Link for $70
I love that the center of the bag has a zipper that can expand it to make more room depending on if you are carrying more that day or not. It has insulated pockets on the side for bottles and stroller clips.2. J J Cole Swag Bag $89
I love the soft faux silver leather. And the way that it looks a lot like a purse. It also has insulated side pockets and stroller clips. The strap at the top is also adjustable.
I like that this bag seems to be pretty roomy and has plenty of storage. It also seems to have a lot of great reviews. It also has insulated side pockets and stroller clips.
I love the style and color of this bag. It is easy to wipe clean both the outside and inside. It has one insulated zipper pocket hidden on the side and also has stroller straps.
This bag is more of the messenger style as opposed to the more purse style of the others. I love the patterns. It is also Eco friendly. It has a side zipper bottle pocket and stroller attachments.
So these are currently my top 5 bags. Notice that they are all pretty gender neutral with black, white, silver, and cream colors. I figure this way if we do decide to have a third, I may be more likely to use the bag again. My current favorite is the JJ Cole Swag Bag.

Being the frugal and cheap girl I am and poor (ha) I just got Witt the cute Stephen Joseph backpacks and had his name put on it--then it just transitioned into his preschool/ church bag and easily identifiable for the workers, others, etc. And at our preschool they have to have a bag with their name on it anyway. So killed two birds with one stone. And my personal purse bag is big enough that I just stuff it in there if I need/ want to carry both around, etc.

EJ - I will more then likely ask for the diaper bag I choose for Christmas. So hopefully that will help with the cost. And I figure I would carry it for at least a year and then get Addisyn a backpack for her first birhtday...at least that is what we did for Aiden. :)

They're all so pretty! I don't know if this helps, but I have three diaper bags right now. One for each boy when they're in childcare and then one big one for when we're all out together. I refuse to switch things from one bag to another several days a week. Good luck in your search!
