Elmo's Boo-Boo

Aiden's stuffed Elmo has had a nice hole in his back for a while now and I had been meaning to sew it up but just kept forgetting. Yesterday, Aiden was playing with him and pointed out Elmo's hole to me. I decided to turn it into a little teaching moment. I ran to the bathroom and retrieved some bandaids so we could "fix" Elmo. Aiden thought it was quite fun and then decided that he needed a bandaid also. Although he didn't have any "boo-boo's" to cover up he liked putting it on and taking it off several times. The couple times Aiden has had bandaids he hasn't known really what to think about it, but I believe he won't mind as much the next time they are needed.
