Hand, Foot, & Mouth

It is so funny how different two children in the same family can be so different. Aiden has NEVER (unless you count in the NICU at birth) taken antibiotics. That being said he really doesn't get too sick often, and we swear he is a carrier of disease. Where as Addisyn has had numerous ear infections, is allergic to penicillin, and has been on a number of different antibiotics. All that to say, that last Friday afternoon Addisyn started running a fever and was really fussy. The fever lasted off and on through Saturday, when I noticed she was getting a little rash on her feet, I decided I would call the doctors office and talk to whoever is on call (before I took her to the Urgent Care). The nurse diagnosed her with Hand, Foot, & Mouth. We can say we are sure she has had a pretty bad case of it. She is now at the end and has many blisters on her hands and feet. We are hoping they pop soon!

Sunday afternoon - spots around mouth

Sunday afternoon - spots on feet

Tuesday evening - blisters on feet
