On Friday, January 13th Aiden turned 4 1/2! Can't believe that he will be turning 5 this summer. Where has my sweet rolly-polly baby gone to?
* He loves all this CARS & CARS 2! The movies, any car from the movie, shirts with Lightning McQueen, anything CARS related he wants! He most often plays with cars and trucks. But also loves boats, planes, and trains. He is definitely into transportation.
* He got a bike for Christmas and we have been working on learning how to ride it. While he was great at the tricycle, he is still working on getting better at the bike.
* He still loves for us to read books to him. He brings them to me throughout the day and will normally read at least one before bed every night.
* Out of all the things we go to at church (Mother's Day Out, MOP Childcare, Choir & Missions, Sunday School...to name a few) he seems to like Cubbies the most. He looks forward to me reading him the Cubbie Story each week and memorizes the verses without complaining. He seems to enjoy singing and music at home, I will be anxious to see how he does with the Children's Choir singing in the service in February.
* He is still a picky eater! Not much else to say on that subject.
* He LOVES his sister and often smothers her too much. He likes to play with her and of course tease her, but you can tell that he genuinely cares for her.
* He is super friendly and hardly ever meets a stranger. He will talk to anyone anywhere. I often call him our Future Politician or Preacher.
* He is not much of a dare-devil. He is timid about trying out things that could result in injury. This may change with time, so for now I will enjoy it! He is pretty cuddly and often seeks out hugs.
* Of course, there are MANY more things I could list on here, but above all else we love him for being our son!
