Addisyn at 1 month

On Sunday Addisyn turned one month! Where has the time gone??

She is starting to be awake more frequently during the day. She often spends that time hanging out in the bouncy seat, the swing (for maybe 5 minutes), laying on her changing pad, or being held (her favorite). I tried wearing her in the baby carrier/backpack yesterday and she seemed to like that a lot, so we will be using that more during the day. Like most babies she is fussiest during the evening hours, consistently around 6pm.

She doesn't sleep real well in her crib or the pack-and-play, but prefers the bouncy seat or her car seat. (I am thinking reflux may be the culprit, but am not sure yet.) She LOVES to be swaddled, and seems to sleep much longer when she is.

She has had her first runny nose the past week or so. She was pretty stuffy there for a couple of days but seems to be much better now.

She is a good eater and typically goes 3 -4 hours between feedings. She has taken a bottle fairly easily. I try to give her one every other day or so, just to keep her use to it. She is starting to really fill out and I look forward to find out her stats at her two month appointment.

She has started to smile more. She does it most often if you touch the area around her mouth. We all fall more in love with her every day!
