3rd Trimester

28 1/2 weeks

Since I hadn't done any pregnancy post (beside the initial telling everyone) I figured it was about time. I also hadn't taken any pregnancy pictures yet, so last Wednesday Norman took a couple before we went to Bible Study.

Just for my own document and in-case you were wondering, here is a quick overview of this pregnancy so far:

1st trimester - I felt nauseous a lot. I never threw-up, just didn't feel great. Most often in the evenings. I also had random reoccurring low-grade fevers at the begin and was tired every day. With Aiden I think I felt sick maybe 5 times total. So this time was definitely different.

2nd trimester - Went well over all. Although, I did get a cold/sinus infection and then strep-throat. I did end up throwing up at 18 weeks with the strep-throat. After a couple of REALLY bad days I started to feel much better with the antibiotics. I also seemed to get a lot of headaches during this time (I also had these towards the end of the 1st trimester). I think it was a combination of allergies and hormones. But most afternoons, during nap time, I stayed on the couch trying to get rid of it.

3rd trimester - So far...I have had lots of leg cramps in the middle of the night (these started in the 2nd trimester). Some heartburn, it will come and go where I have it for several days in a row and then not have it for another week or so. I have also had a couple of contractions. I never experienced any contractions with Aiden, except a few Braxton-Hicks towards the last couple of weeks. I noticed that I have had them when I have been on my feet and just doing "too much". They often have seemed to happen when I am making Aiden's bed or putting new sheets on (don't know why but that is the case).

I can't believe that we are nearing the end of this pregnancy! Crazy to think that in about 10 weeks (or less!) Addisyn will be here! We can't wait to meet her. The nursery is about 90% completed. My goal was to have the majority of it done before Thanksgiving. So whenever the last few finishing touches get done, then I will post pictures! I am in love with it already!
