Well we have finally completed redoing our guest bathroom. It has been a long, well I honestly don't remember how long. Thanks to both of my parents who helped install things and paint! Here are some before pictures...

We stripped the lovely floral wallpaper. Which was a HUGE ordeal. We originally just tried to texture over the wallpaper. We had it all painted and then went to take off the tape and it pealed off the texture! So then we had to scrape the wallpaper....in which we found that we had some termite damage. We then had to "mud" over the wall and sand it down from where the wallpaper had stripped all the way to the drywall. Then we textured AGAIN. Finally we were able to paint. I had debated on adding bead-board and then decided that I really wanted to do it. So we put up the bead-board and then painted it white. We replaced the light fixture above the shower and installed a new faucet. I LOVE IT!! Except for a few finishing touches like a valance for the window and some new towels and trashcan...oh and the door which is still needing to be painted...it is finished. I am so glad to have it done and usable again.
