It's hard to believe that Aiden turned 2 1/2 this month. He is definitely a toddler and keeps us on our toes. Here are some things your may or may not know about our "big boy"...
1. He loves anything and everything related to Cars, The Movie.
2. He is very social and rarely meets a stranger. Although he sometimes chooses to act shy and hide his face, it is more to get attention then from actually be shy.
3. He can walk into a room and quickly figure out how to turn off/on an electrical device such as the t.v., often this is done without ever having seen the device before...it must be that engineering mind of his.
4. He is great a doing puzzles.
5. He likes to play with his cars and trucks the most. He is not too interested in balls at the moment.
6. He hasn't shown much interest in potty-training yet. He likes to sit on the toilet on occasion but will rarely do anything.
7. He still remains a picky eater and eats much of the same thing he has been eating for the last year or more. We are trying to work on this one.
8. He has the easiest gag reflux and can throw-up very easily. I have lost track of how many times he has thrown-up at friends houses. Most of the time he will either get choked up from coughing/crying or he just doesn't like something and will eventually gag himself. He has even made himself throw-up a couple of times. Hence why it is hard to get him to try new foods.
9. He continues to remain at the top of charts for weight and height...although we haven't been measured since July. I believe he weighs around 32 - 33 pounds. He is quickly growing out of 2T clothing and starting to wear 3T more often.
10. He is talking a lot more. Although mommy is often the only one who can make out exactly what he is saying. He is also starting to talk in more sentences.
11. He likes music and has started to sing along with several songs when in the car. Example: "I Am A Friend of God"
12. He likes to watch t.v. and especially movies. His favorites being; Cars and Finding Nemo.
13. He is generally happy most of the time, except for right after his nap, and is fairly easy going. Although we definitely have our fair share of two year old moments!
14. He is starting to really pick up a lot of letters of the alphabet, and likes to point them out when we go out.
15. He loves to be a backseat driver. He is constantly trying to tell me which way to go and will often get upset if we don't go the way he chooses.
16. He generally doesn't seem to mind heights and will try out the biggest slide at the playground, but doesn't really like to swing high or fast.
17. He really does like to wear hats and will keep them on.
18. He likes to help mommy with things around the house, especially when baking.
19. He loves to give hugs and kisses.
20. He is the best son! Mommy and Daddy are glad he is around to make us smile!

Look at cool dude Aiden!
Happy 2 1/2 years!
We too have our favorite movies (Finding Nemo and Toy Story--or as Walker likes to tell me "i wanna watch Buzz) :)
I try not to let that be the babysitter but sometimes you just gotta get some stuff done right?
I'm saving Finding Nemo and Toy Story 2 until the baby arrives (well that's my plan--I may give in before then) so he'll have something new to do while I'm occupied with little one.
Sounds like our boys are very similiar too bad we are too far away for playdates now. Walker too likes to help me 'cook and bake' ...I try to let him but sometimes I'm in no mood to deal with the mess that comes along with it. That's enough on the comments page.
Hope ya'll are well. Miss ya'll-ejw
You forgot he is so sweet!!!!
Glad someone else has a backseat driver. Jackson's always saying, "Goooo Mommy. Green is go!"
