Now that August is half way over...I decided it was definitely time to update the blog! So here is what has been going on the last couple of weeks in pictures:
Aiden still gets a pacifier when he sleeps (we will be working on getting rid of this soon), one day after nap he wasn't ready to give it up and asked for a book to read in his bed.

On Tuesday of last week we spent the night with April and Madalyn since both of our husbands were out of town on business. Here are Madalyn and Aiden enjoying a bath after playing outside.

On Wednesday, April and I (with Madalyn & Aiden) drove to Kyle, TX to visit one of our college roommates and her kids. From L to R: Madalyn (2), Aiden (2), Kara (2 1/2), Megan (1), and Ethan (5).

On the way home way home we stopped by Diary Queen for a little treat. French fries for the kids and blizzards for the moms. This kept them quiet for a while!
After spending most of the day on Wednesday in the car, Aiden and I decided to spend some time at the zoo on Thursday. Aiden walked pretty much the whole time. Here he is enjoying being splashed by the waterfall.
By the time we got to the tigers Aiden needed a little break. He grabbed the water and sit down to watch them play.
