On Tuesday, Aiden turned 1 1/2! It is hard to believe that we have already hit this milestone. He is at such a fun age right now and is normally full of smiles and laughter. He seems to be learning something new almost daily. Here are some facts/info about Aiden at this time:
* he can identify his eyes, nose, mouth, head, and bellybutton (he used to do ears but doesn't always remember where they are now)

* he can identify his eyes, nose, mouth, head, and bellybutton (he used to do ears but doesn't always remember where they are now)
* he can identify the letter "A" and sometimes "I" (not always consistently but pretty often)
* he loves to play with his cars, trains, and Little People
* he currently LOVES to watch the Little People DVD (he would watch it all day long if I let him, but he is limited to twice a day)
* he is still a picky eater and eats mostly the same thing everyday
* he loves to play outside, especially the park
* he loves to read and can point to several thing in his favorite books (examples: caterpillars, moons, dogs, cats, balls, balloons, to name a few)
* he likes to walk around the house with his blankets on his head
* he likes to do things that are hand-eye coordination related
* he currently has 8 teeth, 4 on top & bottom...no molars yet
* he recently has learned to like stickers and coloring
* he can quack like a duck, says "ah-ah" when asked what a monkey says and will say "ah-ah" and pat his chest for a gorilla
* he still loves bath time and will often eat bubbles and do silly things while in there
* he is starting to have more imaginative play (examples: making the animals and Little People kiss, making the ducks push things during bath time)
* he has an obsession with doors
* he is not a good shopper anymore, he would much rather be walking around then in the cart
* he freaks out when he sees his backpack while we are out, mainly because he knows there is a snack in there
* he loves the vacuum cleaner and will follow whoever has one around and often likes to stand right in the way, he also likes to have his hair blowed-dried
We generally stay busy throughout the day by playing with friends; making trips to the Mayborn Museum, the park, and the zoo; and looking forward to when dad comes home.

I loved Twilight. I was determined not to give into the hype, but it was given to me and I didn't really get into it until the baseball game chapter. A friend let me borrow "New Moon" last night, but I had already started another book. I think that I will start it tomorrow! I am going to finish the series. Didn't think I would like it, but I do!!
