Last week Aiden and I stayed busy by going to some new and some familiar places.
On Monday, we traveled with some friends to Killeen to visit a friend of ours who recently relocated there. Her family is living on the Ft. Hood Army Base so we had to go through the visitors center to get a background check and day passes. We ate lunch on the base and then visited Tiffany's house and the local park. It was a fun day.

On Wednesday, we traveled to Belton to visit April and Madalyn. We met them on the UMHB campus and walked around a little before heading over to April's to eat lunch and put the kids down for a nap...which they actual took!!

On Friday, we went to the zoo with several friends. It was the first time that I was able to let Aiden out of his stroller to walk around a bit. Of course he loves his new found independence!
"What do you see Gianna?"
"Can I have a brick with my name on it?"
To end our week, on Saturday, a couple of friends and I went to the Founders Day Parade in McGregor. Aiden liked the bands and the horses the best. He got a little antsy and really wanted to move around more but was restricted because of all the people and vehicles. We then spent the remainder of the day with Granna and Pops.
