Today, I went to the doctor for my four month appointment. It turned out to be more eventful than my mom or I expected.
After waiting for a while we did the normal things like height and weight. I now weigh 19 pounds 4 ounces (90%) and I am 25 3/4 inches long (80-85%). After waiting some more for the doctor...we finally saw him and he checked me all out. Everything looked good except he (and all the nurses) were a little concerned about how much my chest was retracting when I breathe. They checked my blood oxygen levels, which were fine. Then the doctor decided to do a breathing treatment. I feel sorry for my mom because it was really hard for me to keep my head still and I started to get upset because I was tired.
After the breathing treatment the doctor checked me again and decided he wanted me to have a chest x-ray to make sure everything looked OK. So my mom and I went to admitting and then to radiology. My mom thought we would have to wait a while because there were a lot of people there...but fortunately we didn't. After taking 2 x-ray's, the first one I slept through and the second one I decided I didn't like it and cried, we had to go back to the doctor's office. The x-ray's came out fine and nothing was wrong. Then after ALL of those activities I had to get shots!!
My mom said that I did well for all of those activities. I think I am going to nap for a while this afternoon. My mom said I might have to do 4 month pictures tomorrow.
